Application Settings

Image Preprocessing (Mobile Scan)

For best results with mobile phone images, we recommend these settings: Gamma: 1.0, Enable Adaptive Thresholding: ON, Enable Perspective Correction: ON. Feel free to experiment, but you can return to these values if your scans are not being detected correctly.

Gamma Correction

Darkens mid-tones. Default 1.3.

Clean Background

Enable Adaptive Thresholding

Removes shadows and ensures pure white background.

Auto-Deskew

Enable Perspective Correction

Attempts to fix skewed mobile scans. Disable if using perfect scans.

OMR Settings

Threshold (0-255)

Pixel brightness threshold for detecting marks.

Density (%)

Required percentage of dark pixels to count a bubble as filled.

Bubble Size (pixels)

Default size for bubbles in new templates.

Bubble Shape

Default shape for bubbles in new templates.

Corner Type (for OpenCV Detection - default)

Default corner type used by the OpenCV detection algorithm.

Legacy Corner Type

Corner type used by the legacy corner detection algorithm.
